Continuous Carer/Housekeeper Service
Connect Care was established in 1990 to provide live-in Carers for those who
cannot adequately look after their own needs. Clients can enjoy full time
help and greater independence and confidence in the comfort of their own
home. Regular carers alternate, sharing the care and providing continuity
and companionship.
Carers live-in and are happy to undertake work as instructed by their
Client. This could include:-
·
Cooking and serving meals
·
Shopping for food and
light household goods
·
Providing company and
companionship
·
Assisting with personal
comfort and hygiene
·
Routine cleaning and
general household duties
Connect Care charges are very reasonable and care in your own home can cost
less than the alternatives. The cost depends largely on the level of care
needed, for example attendance during the night, handicaps, confusion etc.
A
member of staff from Connect Care visits new Clients to discuss personal
requirements and an assessment of costs can then be agreed.
Short Term Care
In
the short term care can also be provided for periods of convalescence. By
providing live-in care during these first difficult days or weeks of
recovery, Connect Care can help hospital patients to return home more
quickly. Alternatively we can provide help when a partner is temporarily
unable to do the caring, or is away on holiday etc. The absence of a
partner can be upsetting and by remaining at home clients can avoid further
upheaval and distress.
Our
phones are manned around the clock in the case of an emergency.
